Rural Music Network & Academy

The Rural Music Network offers young people and their communities free music-making sessions across the county. There will be a new programme of sessions announced late summer 2016, so check back here or keep an eye on our social media for details.

The Rural Music Academy offers a path for those young people who wish to take their music-making further. They can explore opportunities and careers in the music and performance industries. The Academy now has its own dedicated home, a live room and recording studio. The rooms offer rehearsal space, training and experience to young people looking to develop their musical talent.

As part of our 2016 partnership with Clarks Village in Street, we are holding monthly ‘Youth Music Showcase’ events on the last Thursday of every month in the village. We welcome any young musicians, whether solo or in groups, to come along and perform!
