SRYP is a registered charity and has been helping young people in Somerset since 1997. Our work aims to inspire, involve and create opportunities for young people. There are several ways you can support us:
Make a donation online
Visit Virgin Money Giving to donate any amount to SRYP now – it’s quick and easy!
Easyfundraising is an easy way to raise money for SRYP. Shop with any of over 2,000 well known retailers and a percentage of what you spend is passed to us at no additional cost to you. Retailers include Amazon, M&S and eBay. Register easily on the easyfundraising website.
SRYP has teamed up with Giveacar – a social enterprise that raises money for charities by accepting donations of unwanted cars. If you have an unwanted car, Giveacar will tow it away, dispose of it (either scrap or auction) and donate the profits to SRYP – at no cost to you!
For more information visit giveacar.co.uk/charities/somerset-rural-youth-project or call Giveacar direct on 020 7736 4242.
Plan your own sponsored event

Sponsor a programme or your local youth club
Sponsoring a programme is a commitment that will make a substantial impact on young people across the South West. If you prefer something more local to you, sponsoring your village youth club will have an immediate and tangible impact on your local area. Whether a company or individual, we seek to acknowledge and reward you for your commitment.
- Naming opportunities available
- We can offer your staff the opportunity to volunteer alongside SRYP youth workers

Offer a work experience placement
Could you offer a young person a vital first step on the career ladder? If you own a business or work for an organisation in the South West, please consider taking a young person on a work experience placement. They will receive support from SRYP’s youth workers and will be driven to succeed. Contact Nik on 01278 722100.
