Stop, Look, Listen
SRYP support Stop, Look, Listen safeguarding campaign
Somerset Rural Youth Project is supporting NCVYS’ (National Council for Voluntary Youth Services) safeguarding campaign ‘Stop, Look and Listen’ on 28th February, National Safeguarding Day.
SRYP has made a pledge:
“We pledge to spend time on the 28th February reviewing the organisation’s Safeguarding policy. We are also going to run a Safeguarding training session with all staff at our staff residential in March, refreshing the team’s existing knowledge. We continue to signpost and support 60 affiliated youth clubs, ensuring a high level of safeguarding awareness and best practice is in place at a large number of youth facilities across Somerset.”
Members of the Board and senior management team spent the morning of 28th February reviewing the policy, and plans for the staff training session in March are underway.
